Okay, we made that up about
collecting snow pictures... but why not start anyway. You hot and sweaty
folks in Florida... c'mon down! Put together a wall full of snow pics and
feel the cold. Brrrrr!
This picture was manipulated in
Lightroom and Photoshop to exaggerate the blue and magenta tones and,
hopefully, your monitor can show the colors correctly. The warren of
backyards, fences, sheds and wires in combination with the blue/magenta
color streams, lead the eye to a fabulous pine decked out with white. Note
the tufts at the very top of the tree - they were blown away maybe ten
minutes later. Ephemeral beauty prior to the painful, ugly reality of
shovelling away a record snowfall.
